HAND PAINTED OSTRICH EGGS

 

On one of our road trips my husband and I spent 4 months at an exotic animal ranch deep within the farmlands of Indiana. The owner of the ranch, an American Indian veteran  owned several large ostriches which we carefully harvested the eggs  to be turned into works of art.

 

Here is the results of some of the eggs I painted while visiting this magical place where miniature horses frolicked in the moonlight .
