Fairy of Love The essence of love she holds in her hand. It is bright, yet limited, the light too weak to penetrate the darkness, the unseen and unknown which surrounds her. Only through love is this light able to grow, filling the world around her with its warmth, bringing things out from the unknown darkness, to face, embrace and love. To take a chance on love is to accept the light it offers. To live without love is to live in a world of darkness where fear keeps you from lighting your world. Do not be afraid of what may lay in the unknown darkness for that is where you will discover love and the gift of light from within. |

Fairy Bath at Full Moon I am finally alone with my thoughts. I will slip into this green pond, where I will become one with the energy of this cool water. Our energies will blend in the swirling liquid and become one with the Earth Mother. Thousands of bright diamonds dance on the surface created by the moon’s reflection. Although the water is deep and dark I will not be afraid of what lies beneath for I am one with it. The cool water will embrace me and send me away from this world. |

Fairy Village A mist rolls over the green pond as the cold winter’s nigh falls upon the small village. Windows glow with the warm light from within the small cottages. Two young fairies share a branch above the village, perhaps to share secrets of their youth, perhaps to watch over the village. Only they know for sure. This painting reminds me of my childhood where I shared a home with my 6 brothers and sisters. During the winter we would look out our windows at the surrounding homes of our friends and neighbors, their windows lit with warm light and laughter within. We were thankful for our warm home and our family, protected from the cold. This is also my first fairy painting.

Lynn This is a portrait of a dear friend of mine that I gave to for her 42nd. Birthday. Sadly, I lost this friend to a sudden heart attack only three month’s after her birthday. Through her I learned the most important thing about loving someone, and that is to never fear losing that love. I loved Lynn and experienced losing that love...and I would do it all over again. “Through life we learn,

Even Fairies Dream What thoughts hide in the head of a teen-age Fairy? Do they think of Fairy boys, Fairy clothes, or the latest Fairy music? Being a teenager is a time of change. A transitional period of testing limit. We have to remind ourselves what it was like to be a teenager and keep the passion for life alive within us. It will make the journey of adulthood a little easier and a lot more enjoyable |

The Ring Bearer She gladly accepts the gifts of gold and silver. It is not receiving that make her happy, it is the love of giving that she sees as they give her these gifts. The ritual of gift giving is a show of affection. It is equally shared by the one who gives and the one who receives. It is an expression of friendship and love. To refuse a gift is to refuse someone’s love. A gift must be received without obligation or reciprocation. On the other hand, if you do not give gifts, you do not give love and therefore, will not receive love. Give gifts from your heart and never count them. Your heart will fill with gifts of love when you give love. |

Tiffany This sleepy wee fairy lies on her mushroom of a bed. She looks up at the moon and stars and wonders what is out there. She is too young to fly there herself, yet she dreams of what lies within the endless sky. She is surrounded by the watchful eyes of the woods. Feeling safe, she will soon drift into her sleep-world, a world filled with hope, love and endless happiness. A dream we have all had, but lost through the years. There is a little Tiffany in all of us, all we have to do is close our eyes and wish once again to feel the pure innocence of childhood. Grab onto that vision and bring it back to where you are now. Make it come true. |
